The Miami-based Alianza Martiana Coalition, an active group of Cuban migrant´s organizations, has called a demonstration next Saturday, December 12, in that southern US city to demand the immediate lifting of the over-50-year US economic, commercial and financial blockade of Cuba.

The action, which will take place two day after the world marks International Human Rights Day, will consist of a car caravan that finds its precedent in similar activities carried out by the coalition in previous years in support of the Cuban cause.

The announcement of the action notes that amidst the current process to normalize relations between the two nations and governments, it is unacceptable that President Obama keeps this genocidal policy that hurts that deep our families in Cuba, particularly the children.

The caravan will gather at 10:30 am at the parking lot of the Youth Fair, right on the corner of Coral Way, or 24 street and 112 Avenue, South West. From that point, the caravan will tour different main avenues in the city of Miami.
